With the New Years Eve special now sold out, the next chance to catch live comedy at Nantwich Civic Hall will be our first show of 2026, taking place on Friday 6th February.
At MC, we welcome one of our most requested comedians back in Danny McLoughlin. A long time favourite with us here at the civic, Danny’s laid back style and ability to find material in even the most niche of things is amongst the best in the country. His podcast ‘Proper Rank’, alongside fellow comic Brennan Reece, where the duo rank parts of everyday life is becoming increasingly popular on podcast platforms, showcasing Danny’s talents off stage, as well as onstage.
Continuing the theme of online success, we have Jack Skipper in the opening section of our evening. Hailing from South London, Jack has recently gone from a carpet fitter with no qualifications, to becoming an internet sensation and full-time comedian with no qualifications. Jack’s latest solo show ’Skint’ was nominated for a Best Newcomer award in Edinburgh and his TV appearances have included Comedy Central Live, The Stand Up Sketch Show and Jack will also be making an appearance in the upcoming series of Live At The Apollo. Closing the first show of 2026 will be circuit legend Mike Gunn. Recognised in the Independent as ‘one of the top 10 comedians in the country’, Mike’s built up a long and distinguished career in comedy, including tours in theatres across the UK and appearances of plenty TV shows including ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, Harry Hill’s TV Burp and the cult ’SoccerAM’. He’s a self-confessed pessimist yet extremely likeable and consistently delivers a high standard of jokes in his comedy sets. A fantastic act to finish up our first show of 2026.
